Appearance:

Hayden is thin, gaunt, and hallow cheeked. He looks a little taller than he is. His dark hair is short on the sides, with some length in the back, and long bangs swept to the side of his face. He wears mostly black, tight jeans, tight t-shirts, and jackets. He likes to tear his clothing and on occasion applies eyeliner. He has a lip and nose piercing, he also has several tattoos, all of which are on his arms and visible. Sometimes he will appear out of gothic clothing dressed casually in hoodies, regular jeans, sweaters ect. He wears glasses to read.

Brief Description of Personality/Backstory:

Hayden takes on a gothic persona as a rebellion against his mother’s more conservative ways. As the middle child, he never got the same amount of care and attention that the oldest and the youngest received. His mother pawned most of his care off onto his big brother. Unlike Max, he struggled with mental conditions growing up. He's bright, but unmotivated.

Hayden is the product of a messy divorce which happened at a peek age of his adolescence and left him scrabbling for stability and safety. Constantly compared to his older brother, and his own achievements never receiving recognition, he slid into aggressive, jealous, rebellion.

His resentment for his father’s abandonment and his need to blame someone for this 'betrayal' has left him blaming his mother for the divorce. Almost everything he has done in the last few years has been to shock her, anger her, or force her to confront him. He went from craving her attention, quietly, to demanding it forcefully.

He came out as bisexual in highschool around the same time he started to dress more gothic (when his parents filed for divorce), and hang out with dead beat kids. He openly screwed around in his house with boys and would throw a fit if his mother asked him to stop, accusing her of wanting to disown him and throw him out because he wasn't straight like Max. He's had a few girlfriends and boyfriends all of which he's dumped as soon as he got bored, or frightened away with his aggressive behavior.

He has very few clear cut morals. Sexuality and attraction are playgrounds to him, playgrounds with no boundaries. He only just got out of short stay in a correctional facility for stealing cigarette's and resisting a cop. After returning home he took to pursuing his biological cousin, Sora. Fooling around with the girl shamelessly close to being caught. Which was no doubt part of the intention. He's all shock value.

He's a pathological liar and has an inhalant addiction.

He had seizures as a child and was bullied mercilessly in elementary school. He had several episodes in the classroom or during gym. Since elementary school he’s done everything in his power to disassociate himself with his childhood, going by his middle name, Hayden, as opposed to his first name, James.

Diagnosis/Medical problems:

Hayden had seizures as a child and throughout his early teenage years. His doctor switched his medication and he hasn’t experienced a seizure for almost two years. He’s religious about taking his medication, most of his current friends or extended family are unaware of his medical conditions. Hayden was also diagnosed with a mild schizophrenia. He claimed he heard voices growing up, and takes clozapine to treat some symptoms. He also experiences moderate to severe anxiety which can result in panic attacks or induced vomiting, lack of appetite ect.
