Max has the average build for an athletic male of his age, and is very attractive in the Hollywood sense. He very rarely has a clean-shaven face, normally sporting a decent amount of stubble, which only helps to highlight his bright smile and dimples. His hair is kept shorter, and usually styled so that it has the messy “bedhead” look. His average apparel consists of a t-shirt and/or a sweater with a pair of blue jeans and canvas shoes or sneakers.

Brief Description of Personality/Background:
Max is generally a rather nice guy. He genuinely cares about other people, and his family is very important to him. Born on June 3rd, the first child of the Foster family, he was taught that it was his job to protect his younger siblings, no matter what. Because of a combination of this and Hayden not only being his first younger sibling, but also having a lot of problems as a child, including seizures, Max is most protective of Hayden out of all of his siblings. Throughout school he did his best to please his parents and meet their expectations, becoming the “golden boy” of the family. He kept average grades and participated in several sports, as well as a few other extracurricular activities. The only times he ever got in trouble in school was for getting in fights with other students who were bullying his siblings (usually Hayden).
When his cousin Sora came to live with them, Max initially tried to connect with her and get to know her better, but had little success and basically stopped trying after a while, figuring she would eventually make an effort if she wanted them to be close. He is still protective of her, however, as she is still family, even though they aren't as close as he and his other siblings. However, his need to protect her isn't as strong as with Hayden or Annabel, mostly because he feels she is more independent and able to fend for herself, whether this is actually the case or not. When Annabel Lee joined the family, Max took to her rather quickly, and now views her as if she were his biological family.
Max was 16 when his parents divorced, and it shook his world. For the next two years he dealt with this by concentrating on school, improving his grades a bit, even becoming the quarterback of his football team his senior year, and adding his mother to the list of people it was his job to protect now. He went to college on a football scholarship, and during his freshman year he finally began to question what in his life he had done for himself, and what he had done for his parents, specifically his father. He spent his first two years of college taking basic courses and anything he found himself interested in at the time, but never declared a major. Still unsure what he wanted to do, both with college and the rest of his life, he took the current year off of school in order to figure it out, and moved back home for the time being. He feels very lost and unsure of who he is at this point in his life.
Every summer since his sophomore year of high school, Max has worked a part time job in an auto repair shop to help his mom with the bills, though she refused to let him work during the school year. He continued to work at said shop during the summers his college years as well, when he came back home. He now owns a motorcycle, which is his only real prized possession, and knows just enough about mechanics to keep it up and running.
Not knowing everything that happened to cause the divorce, Max initially blamed everything on his father and hated him for it. Though he still holds a great deal of negative feelings towards his father, he has recently found out more of what happened and the picture he had of his mother as a saint has begun to fade.
